Restraint & Seclusion
Glades County School District utilizes Crisis Prevention Interventions (CPI) to support teachers with strategies to identify students in crisis and who are at various stages of agitation. Our goal is always to provide a safe and orderly environment for all students and to help de-escalate students in crisis through the use of Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS), our mental health team, and through Crisis Prevention.
Crisis Prevention Intervention teams consist of the following members: Administrators, Paraprofessionals, ESE Teachers, Guidance Counselors. Each school has a team of individuals trained yearly in CPI strategies. Please contact your school for a detailed list.
